The 1st semester of 2016-2017 academic year have begun and the classes will commence from September 1st, OEC of JSU welcomes you all for a yet another wonderful semester of your college life.
The Autumn Semester as your favorite is going to entertain you with the Sino-foreing PG forum, Life Builder Conference, Sports Meet, Closing Ceremony of Culture Festival and more. We wish you a happy and successful time ahead. Classes begin and attendance will be checked from 1 Sep. onwards.

Length: 20 Weeks
IMPORTANT NOTE
Students who left China for the vacations must register their residence information with-in 24 hours after arriving China. Please do not forget this to avoid heavy fine from the China Entry and Exit Bureau, which might also affect your residence permit issue in future.
How to Register?
If you arrive to JSU campus with first 24 hours: Submit your passport at the reception of Overseas Apartments.
If you live in a hotel, register at the hotel reception. If you stay at friend's house, please register at the local police station.
MAKE-UP EXAMS
The make-up exams will commence from the second week. The timetable will be available on the OEC website soon. Good Luck!
FEE PAYMENTS
All students are required to go to the financial department (Counter 19) with bank card to pay tuition fee as well as insurance fee before September 14th.On arrival you are also required to go to the Overseas Apartment Receptionist with your bank card to pay your accommodation fee before September 3rd. No cash. On September 16th from (8-12 am to 2-5 pm.) monitors of every class will collect all the receipts given by the financial department and students ID cards (from students who only cleared the fees) to OEC office for registration.
According to Student Manual (page 6), If tuition fees are not paid off within 10 work days after enrollment, 5% overdue fine of the tuition fee of the year must be paid. Students who do not pay for the tuition fee in two months into the semester would be seen as automatic expulsion or dropping out.
