To all International Students:
To motivate you to actively participate in various academic and physical activities in school, to encourage you on improving your study efforts, to guide you to be law-abiding, and to take initiative on selfless dedication, in order for us to help you on becoming an all-rounded, talented person, the School of International Education has taken the initiative to activate the review process of “The Wuhan University International Students Scholarship for Academic Excellency” for 2015, hereby notify as the following:
ⅰ Eligibility:
All registered international students (excluding first-year freshmen, Chinese Language short-term Program students, and exchange students), which includes bachelor, master, and Ph.D. students.
ⅱ Award Categories and Ratio:
1. Type A - Scholarship for Excellency in both Academic Performance and Merit:
10 students (6 for Main Campus, 4 for Medical Campus), 3000 RMB per student.
2. Type B - Scholarship for Excellency in Academic Performance:
First Prize: 10 students (6 for Main Campus, 4 for Medical Campus), 2000 RMB per student.
Second Prize: 20 students (12 for Main Campus, 8 for Medical Campus), 1500 RMB per student.
Third Prize: 35 students (20 for Main Campus, 15 for Medical Campus), 1000 RMB per student.
3. Type C - Scholarship for Active Participation in School Affairs:
First Prize: 10 students (6 for Main Campus, 4 for Medical Campus), 2000 RMB per student.
Second Prize: 20 students (12 for Main Campus, 8 for Medical Campus), 1500 RMB per student.
Third Prize: 35 students (20 for Main Campus, 15 for Medical Campus), 1000 RMB per student.
ⅲ Application Procedures:
1. Fill-up the application for “The Wuhan University International Students Scholarship for Academic Excellency”
2. For students in Main Campus: submit your finalized application to the Office 1103
3. For student in Medical Campus: submit your finalized application to the General Office in Medical Campus.
4. Applicants must also submit their academic reports for the period between September 2014 and July 2015, along with finalized GPA number.
5. Application Deadline: before 17:00, December 16th, 2015.
6. Application Review Date: 15:00, December 17th, 2015.
7. Result Posting Date: December 12~15th, 2015.
8. Date of Receiving Scholarship: December 30th, 2015.
