（1）Weather Chongqing´s climate is humid and extreme, please consider that in winter the temperature could reach until 0ºC, whereas in summer temperatures may reach 40ºC approx.

（2）Clothes It is advisable to bring a little of everything: a jacket and/or coat for winter and sandals and light clothes for summer. We said a little of everything, because during the staying in China, without realizing it, normally the foreigners start to buy and accumulate all kinds of things, later when they are returning home it´s practically impossible to cram everything into the suitcase. Also, if the foreign student requires some clothes or footwear of special size, it is advisable to bring enough of them from the place of origin, because Chinese sizes differ in a considerable proportion from west-countries sizes, Chinese sizes are smaller, for example: if someone in Latin America is medium size in China could be extra-large size. This situation turns complicated but not impossible to find really large sizes. In China clothing is cheap if you put aside famous brands and qualitative aspects. Of course, there are exceptions and sometimes you can find options that balance a good price and quality.
